Carmine and cherry velvet in colour. A floral component on the nose evokes violets and dark roses, alongside red cherries, raspberries and strawberries.
A luscious palate redolent with dark cherries and plums, hibiscus and pomegranate. Silky tannins and perfectly poised acidity.

Bright ruby in colour. The nose is lifted and vibrant, with vanilla and red liquorice, raspberries, cranberries, tea leaves and crushed rose petals.
Star anise, spice and black tea unfold across a tightly bound palate, with seamless spicy oak and brambly fruits. An elegant finish with vibrant tannins; this will age gracefully for years to come.

Pisa, Central Otago
Now resting on lees in bottle to age, the wine shows a generosity of fruit, with white peach, apricot and plum alongside bright citrus notes of mandarin. Floral aromas of peony, rose and violet carry through onto the palate.
Fresh and expressive in its youth, the wine will continue to develop complexity and texture through extended lees ageing.
The Name
Two Suns began in a moment, not a meeting. Katie was working a vintage alongside her two winemaking sons when she looked up and saw parhelia — the rare trick of light that sets a second sun in the sky beside the first.
She called it out, two suns. Then she looked across at her two sons, standing there in the same light, and understood the moment was rare on both counts.
And so, Two Suns became.

The Winemaker
Two Suns is the work of one winemaker. Katie makes her wines in the world's southernmost wine region, where the light is intense and the seasons extreme.
Her approach is simple and stubborn: grow exceptional fruit, then get out of its way. She nurtures each wine with patience and care, allowing it to become itself. One grape, three readings of it — wines that become an extension of Katie and her family.
